The Child Support Services office (3701 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, 95826) will also close at 3 p.m. All upgrades are anticipated to be complete by end of day Sunday, Oct. 21 and available Monday, Oct. 22.
As a result, the following will be unavailable:
- Batch
- Guideline Calculator
- Customer Connect
- VIOLA
- Kiosk Web Service
- ECSS IVR
- e-Process Server
- Local/Central Scan
- SSP/QUICK
The CSE is the largest and most complex state system. CSE and all auxiliary functions are supported by 33 servers. The base operating system is outdated and can no longer receive updates or patches and requires an upgrade.
In order to minimize the impact to service delivery at all levels in the child support program across the state, the Department worked closely with the California Department of Technology, the Office of Technology Services (OTECH), and the State Disbursement Unit regarding the time and resources required and how best to accomplish this upgrade.
